Beside providing care to healthy expectant parents we are able to manage high risk and complicated pregnancies.

We have the Level III. institutional background with Neonatal Intensive Care Unit on site.

Standard Obstetrics and Gynecology services are available in our office.

Screening for cervical cancer, ultrasound, genetic testing and counseling, all other related laboratory evaluations, prenatal and perinatal follow up constitute our comprehensive OB/GYN care.

Obstetrics and Gynecology Medical Staff

Attila Demeter, M.D., Ph.D., Medical Director for OBGYN Services

Dr. Demeter is a native of Hungary. He received his medical degree (summa cum laude) at the University of Debrecen in Hungary in 1992. He completed an Obstetrics and Gynecology residency training program at Semmelweis University, Budapest in 1997. He is certified by the Hungarian Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Dr. Demeter successfully completed the United States Medical Licensing Examination and is certified by the Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates in the United States of America. In 1994 and 1995 he was invited as a Visiting Assistant Professor to Indiana University Faculty of Medicine Departments of Obstetrics and Gynecology. He is now appointed as the Chief Of Obstetrics and Gynecology Services at Semmelweis University Kútvölgyi Hospital.


Peter Takacs, M.D, Ph.D.

Prof. Dr. Takacs received his medical degree (summa cum laude) at the University of Debrecen in Hungary in 1992. He completed an Obstetrics and Gynecology residency training program at the Virginia Commonwealth University in 1998. Dr. Takacs is certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and a licensed physician in the State of Florida. In Hungary he has the equivalent board certification. Dr. Takacs participated in a Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery (Urogynecology) Fellowship subspecialty training program. He is now Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Miami.

Dr. Takacs is acting as our Quality Assurance Medical Advisor for OB/GYN services, and is Director of our Urogynecology and Gynecological Reconstructive Surgery Program in Budapest.


Sandor Valent, M.D., Ph.D.

Dr. Valent is a native of Hungary. He received his medical degree (summa cum laude) at the University of Debrecen in Hungary in 1992. As an eminent student he received the Scholarship of the Hungarian Republic. He completed an Obstetrics and Gynecology residency training program at Semmelweis University, Budapest in 1996. He is certified by the Hungarian Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Dr. Valent has completed a special fellowship training and bears a certification by the Hungarian Society of Ultrasonography in Obstetrics and Gynecology. Dr. Valent is a nationally recognized expert in ultrasound detection of fetal developmental abnormalities. He is now appointed as an Assistant Professor in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Semmelweis University and the Chief of the Ultrasonography Laboratory. Beside Hungarian, Dr. Valent also speaks Russian and English.
